Job summary

WGI is seeking a Structural Graduate Engineer (EIT) with 0 to 5 years of experience to join our Structural Engineering team in the Buildings Division at our Indianapolis, IN office. The role involves developing designs for buildings and infrastructure, coordinating with multiple disciplines, and learning BIM software in a fast-paced environment.

A Bachelor's in engineering and FE eligibility are required, with Masters preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering from an accredited four-year college; Masters preferred.
• Passing score on Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam.
• Proficiency in structural analysis and BIM software including Tekla, ETABS, SAP 2000, RISA, RAM, Tedds, SConcrete and Autodesk Revit.

Responsibilities

• Develop engineering designs and drawings for structures (buildings and infrastructure).
• Review shop drawings and submittals; coordinate with architectural, MEP, Civil disciplines.
• Create construction documents using Autodesk Revit; assist in project meetings.
• Conduct structural observations and prepare observation reports.
• Learn and use structural analysis and BIM software in a fast-paced environment.
