Job summary

Wilson & Company, Inc., Engineers & Architects in Colorado Springs is seeking an entry level Structural Building Engineer in Training (EIT/EI) to support the building design team. You will assist with design calculations, plan production (CAD/REVIT), and field investigations on building projects.

The ideal candidate has a BS in Civil Engineering, an EIT or ability to obtain within 12 months, and 0–2 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• EIT certification or ability to obtain within 12 months.
• 0–2 years of relevant structural design experience.
• Willingness to travel to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural design calculations on building components (steel, concrete).
• Assist with plan production (CAD/REVIT drawings) and quantity development.
• Develop design alternatives or recommendations for clients.
• Support field investigations or assessments.
