Job summary

Halff Associates, Inc. in Richardson, TX seeks a Graduate Engineer I, Structural (EIT) to support building and bridge design projects.

You will design parts of projects, assist with CAD, and work under senior staff while gaining professional licensure and ownership opportunities. Requirements include a Civil/Architectural Engineering degree with a Structural emphasis and FE exam progress or within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil/Architectural Engineering with a Structural emphasis - required.
• Passed FE exam or can within 6 months of starting position.
• Up to 2 years of experience on Structural projects is a plus.
• MicroStation, OpenRoads, Revit or Civil 3D training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Will design part or all of projects such as buildings, hydraulic structures, retaining walls, and vehicular bridges.
• Will review contractor submittals during construction.
• Will work under the guidance of senior staff.
• Will interact with clients as well as in-house engineers and architects.
• Will provide CAD assistance when necessary.
