Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking an experienced Fitter for Plant 2 to fabricate, position, align, and fit structural metal components in accordance with blueprints and specifications.

The role requires precise measurement and assembly, attention to quality, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Starting pay is $18.00–$22.00 per hour, with a schedule of Mon-Thu 6:00 AM–4:30 PM and Fri 6:00 AM–3:30 PM.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a fitter or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in reading a tape measure and interpreting blueprints.
• Strong understanding of structural metal fabrication and fitting techniques.
• Ability to use measuring tools accurately (squares, levels, tape measures).
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications accurately.
• Measure, cut, and fabricate structural metal components.
• Position, align, and fit parts according to detailed specifications.
• Verify conformance of workpieces using precision measuring tools.
• Utilize tools such as tape measures, squares, and levels for accurate alignment.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards and tolerances are met.
