You will read blueprints, measure precisely, and work with supervisors and engineers to meet deadlines, while maintaining safe practices and clean work areas.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and work orders.
• Experience with metal fabrication, welding, or related field.
• Ability to read fabrication drawings and blueprints.
• Strong math and measurement skills; attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and work orders.
• Measure, cut, bend, and shape metal material.
• Assemble components via welding, bolting, riveting, and other fastening methods.
• Operate shears, press brakes, ironworkers, drills, grinders, saws, and welding machines.
• Perform MIG, TIG, and/or Stick welding as required.
• Inspect finished work for quality and dimensional accuracy.
