WSP USA is offering a full-time Structural Engineering Intern position for Summer 2027, based in Los Angeles, CA or Atlanta, GA. The internship runs for 12 weeks starting May 17, 2027, with flexibility on exact start date.

Open to undergraduates or graduate students currently enrolled in an accredited Structural Engineering program. Duties include assisting with design calculations, field work, project research, and documentation while mentoring with senior staff.

Qualifikationen

• Actively enrolled in an accredited Structural Engineering program with an anticipated graduation date August 2027 or later.
• Must be 18+ and authorized to work in the United States.
• Demonstrated interest in Structural Engineering and desire to grow skills in WSP’s projects.
• Basic proficiency with technical writing, office software, spreadsheets, and related tools.

Aufgaben

• Support a variety of engineering tasks to develop technical, social, and ethical skills.
• Learn basic principles of Structural Engineering.
• Assist with project research, field work, and preliminary design calculations and analysis.
• Assist in preparing final design plans, special provisions, and cost estimates.
• Help collect and maintain project documentation.
• Complete training on assigned tasks.
• Adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and safety policies.
