Job summary

AHBL, Inc. seeks a Structural Engineering intern in Seattle to work with licensed engineers on real-world projects. You will help with lateral force calculations, roof and floor framing design, and 3D modeling in Revit or AutoCAD while learning industry standards.

The internship runs for 12–14 weeks starting in May or June, at ~40 hours per week, with compensation of $23–$27 per hour. Opportunities for full-time employment after graduation are possible.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Structural, Civil, or Architectural Engineering degree program and have completed Junior level coursework.
• Strong analytical, conceptual, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with real-world structural projects under experienced engineers.
• Support 3D modeling and drawing in Revit or AutoCAD.
• Contribute to project reviews and field visits as needed.
