Job summary

AHBL is seeking a Structural Engineering intern to work with experienced engineers on real-world projects. You will contribute to lateral force calculations, wind and seismic analyses, and the design of roof and floor framing components while gaining hands-on experience with Revit and AutoCAD.

Internship runs May/June for 12–14 weeks, averaging about 40 hours per week. This role provides real-world exposure, professional mentorship, and potential progression to full-time opportunities after

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Structural, Civil, or Architectural Engineering degree and have completed Junior level coursework.
• Strong analytical, conceptual, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with lateral force calculations for wind and seismic design.
• Contribute to structural design of roof and floor framing members.
• Learn 3D models and drafting in Revit or AutoCAD.
• Support site visits or field reviews during construction.
