Job summary

HDR offers an internship for undergraduate or graduate Civil/Structural Engineering students. You will gain real-world experience on exciting projects and have mentoring opportunities with company leaders while applying standard engineering techniques under supervision.

Preferred candidates are enrolled in engineering programs with CAD skills, concrete/steel coursework, and a track record of maintaining GPA. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities are valued.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in undergraduate or graduate Civil/Structural Engineering program.
  • CAD knowledge and skills.
  • Steel or Concrete Design coursework completed.
  • Prefer 2 years completed toward degree with 3.0+ GPA.
  • Strong preference given to local candidates.

Responsibilities

  • Offer real-world experience on exciting projects.
  • Connect with recent college graduates and company leaders through mentoring and young professionals programs.
  • Apply standard engineering techniques and procedures.
  • Perform assignments under the direct supervision of a professional or Project Manager.
  • Perform other duties as needed.

  • Either Steel or Concrete Design coursework completed
  • Prefer 2 years completed toward degree with 3.0+ GPA
  • Strong preference given to local candidates

  • Basic Microsoft Office skills
