Job summary
ARCO is seeking a Structural Engineering Intern to assist in designing and detailing structural systems across diverse facilities, including industrial and multi-family projects. You will support load calculations, gravity and lateral analyses, and prepare structural details and connections.

Qualifications
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0.
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's of Engineering program or related field of study.
- Prior industry internship experience is a plus.
- Extracurricular involvement is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Design and specify structural systems including load calculations, gravity and lateral system analysis, structural details, and connections for various projects.
- Assist our multi-disciplined engineering team to deliver projects.
- Join projects with other engineering and modeling staff to deliver comprehensive structural design packages.
- Assist in the development of industry-leading automated design methods and tools as part of a forward-thinking, innovation-focused team of engineers and R&D staff.
- Work with our fabrication modeling team to facilitate successful project execution.
- Provide value engineering reviews and alternate design options to maximize cost savings, optimize lead times, and better execute projects.
