IMEG in Madison, Wisconsin offers a paid summer internship for students pursuing a BS in Civil/Structural/Architectural Engineering. The in-office program spans 10–12 weeks with mentorship and real project work on structural systems.
You’ll support designers, coordinate with multiple disciplines, and contribute to client deliverables while gaining exposure to IMEG’s design standards and potential full-time opportunities after graduation.

Required Education and Experience Completed at least 2 years towards a Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering, or equivalent, required
Preferred Prior internship experience in the building design consulting industry preferred
Large multi-office structural team with active work across healthcare, education, housing, industrial, and public-sector projects in the Midwest and beyond. Strong mix of new buildings, additions, renovations, crane and foundation studies, civic facilities, and structural support for complex multidisciplinary projects. Recent work includes QCRH-QCBT HQ, Commercial, and Regional Medical Center - Surgical Addition, Healthcare.
