OneFourTwo Design Group in White Plains, NY is seeking a highly motivated Structural Engineering Intern who is passionate about the design, engineering, and construction process to join our team.

At OneFourTwo, an Intern/Co-op has the opportunity to assist their team with the following: Communicate with technical drafting staff, clients, and other outside project team members; prepare preliminary designs for clients; review building codes to assure correct implementation of preparation and

Qualifications

• Minimum GPA 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
• Enrolled in Civil or Structural Engineering degree (Graduate or Undergraduate).
• Previous construction or engineering internship/co-op experience is a plus.
• Excellent verbal communication skills and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with drafting staff, clients and project team members.
• Prepare preliminary designs for clients.
• Review building codes to ensure correct implementation.
• Attend client meetings and coordinate with project managers, architects, and engineers.
• Produce structural calculations for construction documents and permits.
• Create construction-ready drawings using Revit and coordinate with disciplines.
