Job summary

OneFourTwo Design Group is seeking a seasoned Structural Engineer to lead design efforts for commercial and data center projects in Atlanta. You will manage projects, prepare preliminary designs, and coordinate with architects, civil and mechanical engineers to deliver complete construction documents.

Responsibilities include reviewing codes, producing structural calculations, and managing shop drawing reviews and RFIs. PE licensure or the ability to obtain within 6 months is required.

Qualifications

  • BS or MS in Civil/Structural Engineering.
  • 5+ years of structural engineering building design experience, ideally with some experience in large-scale commercial and/or data center projects.
  • Ability to prepare structural designs for steel, concrete, masonry, light gage steel, and understanding of foundation design.
  • Proficiency using Revit independently to create construction level structural drawings is required.
  • Knowledge of RAM Structural System, SAP2000, RISA, or another recognized 3D design packages preferred.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) licensure, or ability to obtain within 6 months.
