Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking a motivated Structural Engineering Intern for Summer 2027 in Woodcliff Lake, NJ. You will gain hands-on experience with bridges and civil structures, mentored by seasoned engineers in a collaborative team.

The role emphasizes applying classroom knowledge to real projects, with exposure to CAD tools and structural analysis software, plus opportunities to participate in professional development activities.

Formación

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related program.
• Interest in Structural design required.
• Must have reliable transportation to the office.
• Basic understanding of AutoCAD and/or Microstation preferred.
• Experience with structural analysis software (LEAP, MIDAS, ETABS, SAP, LARSA, etc.) is a plus.
• Solid problem-solving skills and ability to work in a high-paced environment.
• Strong computer literacy, MS Office proficiency.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English for job communications.

Responsabilidades

• Work in the Bridges & Structures group on projects including highway, rail, and pedestrian bridges and culverts.
• Prepare engineering analyses, computations, CAD drawings, technical reports and cost estimates under supervision.
• Collaborate with the Bridges team to meet project deliverables and deadlines.
• Apply classroom knowledge to real-world engineering tasks.
• Occasional field work may be required under supervision.
• Participate in internship programming, networking, and learning opportunities.
