Stantec, a Top 10 global design firm, invites passionate interns for the summer of 2027 to join our Buildings practice in Houston. You will interact with architects, engineers, interior designers, and project managers to help create conceptual models and advance design ideas with a team.

Qualifications

• Excellent design, modeling, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to interact within a multidisciplinary team of design professionals.

Responsibilities

• Interpret drawings, specifications, codes, and other documents.
• Use BIM technologies to develop 3D models under direction.
• Analyze and design building structural systems.
• Prepare design documents across design phases including site plans, floor plans, elevations, sections, details, and calculations.
• Create electronic data files in compliance with Stantec and client requirements.
• Convert redlines to document-ready work.
• Publish and manage design document sets.
• Maintain drawing revisions.
