Job summary

Stantec invites interns to contribute to building design projects alongside experienced practitioners. You will support BIM workflows, gain practical experience, and build your professional network within a collaborative team.

As part of our Buildings team, you’ll work on BIM production, drawing documentation, and meetings, while pursuing training to advance your technical and project knowledge.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an Architectural or Structural Technology Degree.
• Minimum of junior equivalent level classes complete.
• Experience with BIM and Revit is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up new BIM models and maintain file structure for projects.
• Prepare drawing documentation with project managers and technical staff.
• Work in Revit Structure on 3D projects, maintaining multiple models and views.
• Create and manage electronic data files in compliance with requirements.
• Publish, post, and manage drawing sets and revisions.
• Assist other staff with Revit issues and mentor design staff in Design Technology systems.
• Identify efficiencies and participate in training opportunities.
