Job summary

SSOE Group in Austin, TX is seeking a Structural Engineer to develop and engineer structural solutions for safe, constructible tool installations within semiconductor fab environments. You will prepare calculations, 3D models, and drawings, coordinating with project managers and cross-discipline teams.

The role emphasizes QA/QC, code compliance, and design reviews, with mentorship for junior engineers and drafters as part of project delivery.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited civil/structural engineering degree required.
• PE license or eligibility to obtain by reciprocity within six months.
• Proficient in Revit, BIM coordination, and structural design work.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for tool installation support systems in fabs.
• Prepare calculations, 3D models, drawings, and reviews; manage design changes.
• Coordinate with project managers and cross-discipline teams across design phases.
• Support QA/QC and ensure code compliance and constructability.
• Mentor junior engineers and drafters.
