Job summary

SSOE Group is hiring a Structural Engineer to develop and engineer structural solutions for tool installation in semiconductor fab environments. The role emphasizes safety, constructability, and code compliance, with close coordination to project managers and design leads.

You will prepare calculations, 3D models, drawings, and review packages, manage design changes through review gates, and help resolve field conditions and RFIs to keep projects on track.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited Civil or Structural Engineering degree required.
• PE license in AZ or eligibility by reciprocity within six months of hire; CA license is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for tool installation support systems.
• Develop design calculations, load path evaluations, and basis-of-design documentation.
• Prepare and review structural drawings, 3D models, and connection concepts for cleanroom, subfab, and utility-adjacent installations.
• Coordinate with project managers, discipline leads, and cross-discipline teams.
• Participate in design reviews, model coordination meetings, and issue-resolution sessions.
• Support clash and interface resolution with piping, cable tray, and maintenance pathways.
• Evaluate field conditions and incorporate site findings into design revisions.
