Job summary

SSOE in Austin/Scottsdale is seeking a Structural Engineer to develop and engineer structural solutions for tool installation support systems in semiconductor fab environments. You will prepare calculations, 3D models, drawings, and review packages, while coordinating with project managers and cross-discipline teams to ensure constructability and code compliance.

A PE license and 5+ years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• Minimum 5+ years of structural engineering experience, preferably for semiconductor or high-tech facilities.
• Active PE license in Arizona or eligibility by reciprocity within six months.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for tool installation support systems in fab environments.
• Prepare calculations, 3D models, drawings, and review packages.
• Coordinate with project managers, discipline leads, and cross-discipline teams.
• Support QA/QC procedures and design change tracking.
