Job summary

SSOE in Boise, Idaho, seeks a Structural Engineer to design and implement steel-based structural systems for semiconductor/high-tech facilities. Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD is required, with a foundation in structural analysis and calculations.

Responsibilities include detailed modeling, code-compliant documentation, field verifications, and collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams. PE license is a plus; salary ranges reflect experience and location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited institution.
• PE licensure is preferred and a plus, may qualify for higher salary.
• Strong knowledge of structural analysis techniques and principles.
• Familiarity with building codes and industry standards.
• Experience with AutoCAD and Revit for structural deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed structural analysis, calculations, and design for steel and strut-based systems in high-tech facilities.
• Design and optimize steel structures (trusses, frames) prioritizing safety and efficiency.
• Analyze existing structures for new loads and recommend reinforcements.
• Ensure compliance with codes and produce documentation and drawings.
• Utilize AutoCAD and Revit for modeling and detailing; collaborate across disciplines.
• Perform field verifications and site walks to resolve design issues in the field.
• Coordinate with Sr. Engineers, PMs, and stakeholders to meet objectives.
