Job summary
SSOE Group in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking a Structural Engineer to design tool installation support systems for semiconductor fab environments. You will develop calculations, create 3D models, and review packages while coordinating with project teams to ensure constructability and code compliance.
You should have 5+ years of structural experience, a PE license in AZ or eligibility, and strong Revit and BIM coordination skills.
Qualifications
- ABET-accredited degree in civil/structural engineering.
- PE license in Arizona or eligible by reciprocity within six months.
- Minimum 5+ years in structural engineering for complex facilities.
- Proficiency in Revit, BIM coordination, and construction docs.
- Experience with tool installation, cleanroom or high-tech facilities.
Responsibilities
- Perform structural analysis and design for tool installation support systems.
- Develop calculations, load paths, and basis-of-design docs.
- Prepare and review drawings, 3D models, details for installations.
- Coordinate with PMs, leads, and cross-discipline teams.
- Participate in design reviews, model coordination, and IFC release.
- Support QA/QC, change tracking, and field issue resolutions.
- Mentor junior engineers and drafters to raise technical quality.
