Job summary

TalentSource is seeking a Structural Engineer with 4–6 years of experience for a hybrid Dayton-area role. The Indiana-based firm works on diverse projects and is licensed in all 50 states.

You will lead structural design, manage timelines and client communications, and provide construction administration across steel, concrete, timber, FRP and masonry.

A PE license or active licensure pursuit is preferred, with occasional travel to Dayton and the Indiana office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in structural, civil, or architectural engineering (Master’s is a plus).
• PE license or actively pursuing licensure is preferred.
• Proficiency in REVIT and AutoCAD; strong knowledge of IBC codes and construction methods.

Responsibilities

• Prepare structural drawings, specifications, and calculations.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and client communications.
• Conduct structural assessments and ensure compliance with IBC codes.
• Oversee construction processes and provide site inspections.

An Indiana-based firm is expanding its presence in the Dayton area and is seeking talented engineers to join their growing team in a hybrid position. Our client offers a broad range of projects as they are licensed in all 50 states! This role offers the opportunity to lead structural design and manage projects for large local clients, supporting the firm's continued growth in the region.

In this position, you will work on various building structures, including steel, concrete, timber, fiber reinforced polymer (FRP), and masonry. You will be responsible for managing project timelines, maintaining client relationships, ensuring code compliance, and providing construction administration support. The ideal candidates will have a PE license or be actively pursuing licensure.

Key Responsibilities:

Compensation: $75K to $100K
