Qualifications

• Requires 7–10 years of project work experience in structural engineering.
• Registered with a relevant professional engineering association.
• Post-secondary education in structural engineering.
• Experience designing building structural systems across multiple building types.

Responsibilities

• Design structural components of buildings and integrate with architectural design.
• Create construction drawings for new and modified buildings.
• Perform engineering calculations, code research, and material studies.
• Conduct site visits to assess conditions for new and modified structures.
• Review shop drawings and respond to RFIs during construction administration.
