Job summary

GRAEF in Minneapolis is offering an exciting Structural Engineer Internship to learn design and documentation for existing facilities. You will gather project data, prepare design packages, and coordinate with the project team using Revit under supervision.

This internship provides mentorship and exposure to high-profile projects in a collaborative environment. Ideal candidates are Civil or Architectural Engineering students, with 1) a focus on structural work, 2) Revit familiarity preferred but

Qualifications

• Current student pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering with Structural emphasis.
• Master’s degree in Structural Engineering would be considered a plus.

Responsibilities

• Learn design and specifications for a variety of existing facilities.
• Assemble design documentation, reports, and quantity calculations for checking.
• Use Revit for construction documentation and coordination with project team members.
• Perform work as part of a team, in accordance with project budget and schedule under supervision.

We have an exciting Internship opportunity available for a student pursuing their degree in Structural Engineering in our Minneapolis office. This internship offers a rewarding experience and an opportunity to learn from a well-established technical group. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work in a collaborative team environment on existing facilities.

To be considered for our Internship position, we are seeking candidates who meet the following basic qualifications:

• A current student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or architectural Engineering with Structural emphasis in course work.
• Students currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Structural Engineering would be considered a plus.
• Previous Internship experience preferred.
• Revit experience preferred but not required.
