Job summary

Kiewit is seeking a Structural Engineer in Minneapolis to design steel and concrete structures for industrial projects across North America. You will lead engineers, manage projects from concept through construction, and ensure safe, buildable designs that meet schedule and cost goals.

Qualifications include ABET‑accredited degree, PE or progression toward, 3+ years in industrial structural design, and experience with BIM (Revit), AutoCAD, Navisworks, and analysis software such as SAP2000/SAFE.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited degree in structural/civil engineering.
• PE license or in process of obtaining within 18 months.
• 3+ years of structural engineering and design in concrete and steel.
• Experience in industrial, manufacturing, water/wastewater, or building markets.
• Experience with design through construction and BIM workflows.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed structural design for moderate to large industrial projects.
• Develop calculations, drawings, specifications for steel and concrete structures.
• Utilize BIM to develop plans and detailed structural documentation.
• Coordinate with cross-disciplinary teams and project stakeholders.
• Identify improvements to standards, workflows, and processes.
