Job summary

Schneider Structural Engineers in Scottsdale, AZ seeks a Structural Engineer in Training (EIT) for a full-time, on-site position. You will assist with building-structure analysis and design under licensed engineers, prepare calculations, and contribute to CAD-based construction documents.

You will collaborate with project managers, review drawings for compliance, and support quality control as you progress toward licensure.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in structural or civil engineering design.
• EIT certification or eligibility to obtain it within a reasonable timeframe.
• Strong knowledge of building codes (IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, AISC) or ability to learn quickly.
• Familiarity with CAD and REVIT is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with analysis and design of building structures under supervision of licensed structural engineers.
• Prepare engineering calculations and support structural modeling and detailing.
• Contribute to construction documents using CAD and related software.
• Coordinate with project managers, review drawings and specifications for structural compliance.
• Participate in project meetings and support quality control as you progress toward licensure.
