Job summary

Staffingine LLC is seeking an on-site EIT in Scottsdale, AZ to support the analysis and design of building structures under licensed engineers. The role covers calculations, structural modeling, drafting using CAD, and reviews with project teams, progressing toward licensure.

Responsibilities include preparing construction documents, coordinating with PMs, and producing technical reports while ensuring quality control and constructible, cost-effective solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering required.
• EIT certification or eligibility to obtain it within a reasonable timeframe.
• 3–5 years of structural/civil engineering experience in building design.
• Proficiency with CAD; Revit experience a bonus.
• Strong understanding of building codes (IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, AISC).
• Ability to interpret architectural/engineering drawings and communicate with project teams.
• Experience with structural analysis software (RISA-3D, ETABS, ADAPT, RAM).

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering calculations for structural designs.
• Develop structural models and detailing.
• Prepare construction documents using CAD and related software.
• Coordinate with project managers and teams.
• Review drawings and specifications for accuracy.
• Resolve design and constructability issues.
• Attend project meetings; prepare technical reports and ensure quality control.
• Progress toward licensure.
