Job summary

Staffingine LLC is seeking an on-site EIT in Scottsdale, AZ to support the analysis and design of building structures under licensed engineers. The role covers calculations, structural modeling, drafting using CAD, and reviews with project teams, progressing toward licensure.

Responsibilities include preparing construction documents, coordinating with PMs, and producing technical reports while ensuring quality control and constructible, cost-effective solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering required.
• EIT certification or eligibility to obtain it within a reasonable timeframe.
• 3–5 years of structural/civil engineering experience in building design.
• Proficiency with CAD; Revit experience a bonus.
• Strong understanding of building codes (IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, AISC).
• Ability to interpret architectural/engineering drawings and communicate with project teams.
• Experience with structural analysis software (RISA-3D, ETABS, ADAPT, RAM).

About the Role

This full-time, on-site EIT role in Scottsdale, AZ supports the analysis and design of building structures under the supervision of licensed structural engineers. Responsibilities include engineering calculations, structural modeling and detailing, construction documents using CAD and related software, coordination with project managers, drawing/specification reviews, resolving design and constructability issues, project meetings, technical reports, and quality control while progressing toward licensure.

Qualifications

• Structural and Civil Engineering skills for building design and multidisciplinary coordination; 3–5 years preferred.
• Structural analysis and calculations for loads, member capacities, and overall structural performance.
• CAD proficiency for plans, sections, and details; Revit experience is a bonus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• EIT certification or eligibility to obtain it within a reasonable timeframe.
