Job summary

Thomas Young Group is seeking a Structural Engineer in Training (EIT) in Phoenix to contribute to design and detailing of code-compliant structures. You will work closely with senior engineers on a range of projects across the country and gain hands-on experience.

You'll leverage RAM Structural System, RAM Elements, RAM Concept, and RISA 3D while developing technical skills and collaborating with a national team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering (Master’s is a plus).
• Certified as an Engineer-in-Training (EIT).
• Some experience in structural design, including internships or co-op programs.
• Familiarity with RAM software, MathCAD, and RISA 3D.

Responsibilities

• Design and detail efficient, code-compliant building structures with precision and quality.
• Serve as a Project Engineer on assignments ranging in size and complexity.
• Assist with managing budgets and schedules through strong planning and prioritization.
• Collaborate with clients, project managers, and engineers across multiple offices.
• Continuously develop technical expertise and support team learning initiatives.
