Passero Associates in Rochester, NY seeks a Structural Engineer II to join the Structural Department and deliver structural design and analysis for diverse projects across the nation. The role offers growth, technical leadership, and project ownership in a collaborative environment.

The successful candidate will apply engineering principles, utilize REVIT and other software, and collaborate with clients, contractors, and team members while delivering high-quality technical reports and drawings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Structural Emphasis) or related field from an ABET-accredited program; Master's degree preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience in structural engineering design and analysis.
• Strong working knowledge of IBC, ASCE 7, AISC, ACI 318, and other applicable standards.
• Experience designing steel, concrete, masonry, and wood structures.
• Proficiency with REVIT and structural drafting/modeling software.
• Experience with RAM, RISA, ENERCALC, ETABS, SAP2000, or similar structural analysis software.
• Familiarity with seismic and wind design principles and code requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple assignments and priorities while meeting project schedules.

Responsabilités

• Develops structural solutions for small to mid-sized engineering projects and contributes on larger projects.
• Performs structural analysis and design of buildings and systems using software and hand calculations.
• Develops design approaches and production methods to improve efficiency and deliverables.
• Produces structural drawings, specifications, calculations, and reports using CAD/BIM technologies.
• Coordinates with multidisciplinary teams to integrate structural systems with architecture and MEP disciplines.
• Conducts site visits, investigations, condition assessments, and construction administration tasks.
