Job summary

Barton & Loguidice, D.P.C. is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join our team in the New York region, with offices in Syracuse or Rochester. You will lead structural design and analysis for municipal, commercial and industrial facilities, collaborating with a multi-disciplinary group.

The ideal candidate has 8-15+ years in consulting, strong communication skills, and a P.E. license in NY or eligibility; LEED AP is a plus. Competitive salary and full-time, exempt status offered.

Qualifications

• 8-15+ years of diverse consulting engineering experience.
• B.S. in Civil or Architectural Engineering.
• Strong analytical and design capabilities for building facilities.
• Knowledge of ACI and AISC standards; NYS building codes.
• Excellent communication and writing skills.
• PE license in NY or eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Client engagement and interaction.
• Proposal and fee development.
• Project site investigations.
• Structural analysis and design, including delegation to junior engineers and review of their work.
• Preparation and review of design reports, engineering drawings and specifications.
• Verification of construction projects for compliance with plans and specifications.
