Lake Superior Consulting, LLC in Nashville seeks a Structural Engineer II to join our Facilities Engineering group. The mid-level role will perform design and analysis, develop drawings, ensure codes compliance, and lead project teams.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited civil/structural engineering degree required.
• 2+ years of structural engineering experience.
• EIT required or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Proven track record of project completion.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural design and analysis calculations per codes and standards.
• Layout and detail projects under supervision of Engineer of Record.
• Provide CAD drawings or sketches for Designers/Drafters.
• Lead project design efforts and supervise other engineers as needed.
• Attend client meetings and coordinate with architects and other professionals.
• Conduct field observations and document conditions.
• Coordinate technical documents and project drawings.
