Job summary

SSOE Group is seeking a Structural Engineer to support complex semiconductor and advanced technology facilities, focusing on steel and strut-based designs and field verifications. You will develop calculations, coordinate with multiple disciplines, and ensure constructability and code compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited institution, eligible for PE licensure.
• PE license preferred; may qualify for higher salary depending on experience.
• Extensive knowledge of structural analysis techniques.
• Strong knowledge of building codes and standards.
• Experience with structural analysis software such as RISA.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit for structural deliverables.
• Experience with field verifications and site walks.
• Current PE and SE licensure is a plus.
• Ability to communicate with PMs, clients, vendors, and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed structural analysis and design for steel and strut-based systems in high-tech facilities.
• Design and optimize steel structures, including trusses and frames.
• Analyze existing structures for new loads and recommend strengthening.
• Ensure compliance with codes and produce documentation.
• Utilize AutoCAD and Revit for modeling and drafting.
• Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to integrate designs.
• Support field verifications and resolve design issues in construction.
• Coordinate with PMs, clients, vendors, and contractors.
• Maintain QA/QC to meet standards.
