MKA International, Inc. is seeking a highly-motivated mid-to-senior level licensed Professional Engineer for their Washington, D.C. team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in structural engineering with a specific focus on forensic engineering related to various structures.
The position involves field work, technical report writing, and client communication. Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience and a Bachelor's degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering, along with a Maryland Professional Engineer license.
Compensation ranges from $90k to $130k, with competitive benefits including a 401K match and paid vacation.
We are seeking to add a highly-motivated mid-to-senior level licensed Professional Engineer to our team of multi-disciplinary licensed engineers.
The individual will have knowledge in the behavior of structural systems and their components for use in forensic engineering relating to residential, commercial, industrial facilities, marine and inland structures. Experience in performing failure cause & origin analysis on building systems, authoring technical reports, and construction litigation is desired but not necessary if background is strong in design. Building system types include but are not limited to: steel, concrete, masonry, wood, roofing and building envelopes.
Compensation: $90k – $130k
