Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC seeks a Structural Engineer (STARLINK) to join the Bastrop, TX team. You will work on the civil/structural aspects of large capital projects, coordinating with multi-disciplinary engineers and managing drawings, documentation, and cost workstreams.

Required are a civil/mechanical engineering degree and 2+ years of engineering/construction experience; preferred are 5+ years, a PE license, and familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, and Bluebeam.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of engineering/construction experience

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a multi-discipline infrastructure project team for civil/structural engineering, procurement, and construction
• Develop and issue drawings, design documentation, and reports for civil/structural aspects of projects
• Write, negotiate, and manage construction contracts with subcontractors across disciplines
• Prepare cost estimates, project schedules, and cost control reports
• Resolve design and construction conflicts in the field
• Interact with engineers, contractors, fabricators, and stakeholders
