Job summary

Ryde Technologies, LLC is looking for a motivated Structural Engineer to join our multidisciplinary team in Herndon, Virginia. You will collaborate with architects, MEP engineers, and project managers on a variety of building projects from design through construction.

The ideal candidate should have a BS in Civil Engineering (Structural emphasis), at least 3 years of structural design experience, and proficiency in AutoCAD. You will design various building systems and assist in preparing technical specifications while ensuring compliance with EEO standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of structural design experience.
• EIT required; PE a plus.
• U.S. citizen or Green Card holder.

Responsibilities

• Design steel, concrete, masonry, wood, and cold-formed steel systems.
• Prepare construction documents with AutoCAD.
• Learn and apply cold-formed steel framing design.
• Conduct occasional job site visits.
