Job summary

Green Key Resources is seeking a motivated Structural Engineer to join our building design team. This role is ideal for someone on the licensure pathway who enjoys a diverse mix of project types and wants to deepen technical expertise within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.

As a Structural Engineer, you’ll support design and analysis of building structures across markets including higher education, industrial facilities, office buildings, and mixed-use developments.

Qualifications

• 3–10 years of structural engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; Master’s preferred.
• Progress toward licensure; EIT required; PE track encouraged.
• Proficiency with Revit, RISA, RAM and structural analysis platforms.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work within a collaborative team environment.
• Experience with building design across multiple sectors is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for steel, concrete, masonry, and wood building systems
• Develop structural drawings, details, and models using Revit
• Utilize structural analysis software such as RISA, RAM, and other engineering tools
• Collaborate with internal and external design partners to ensure coordinated project delivery
• Assist with specifications, calculations, and technical documentation
• Participate in site visits, construction administration, and field evaluations
• Support senior engineers and contribute to project planning and design strategies

About the Role

As a Structural Engineer, you’ll support the design and analysis of building structures across a wide range of markets, including higher education, industrial facilities, office buildings, and mixed‑use developments. You’ll work closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to deliver coordinated, high‑quality structural solutions from early design through construction.

Key Responsibilities
