Job summary

Owen Thomas Group is seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to join their Buildings department. In this role, you will perform structural analysis and design for a variety of building structures, including steel, concrete, masonry, and wood systems.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering and at least 4 years of relevant experience, with a strong understanding of building codes and design standards. The position offers opportunities to grow technical responsibility and leadership.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant structural engineering experience with an emphasis on building structures.
• PE preferred (EIT required; active progress toward licensure expected).
• Strong understanding and practical application of applicable building codes and design standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural engineering analysis and design for building structures.
• Assist with site investigations to observe and document conditions.
• Develop and review engineering calculations and assist in preparation of drawings.
