Job summary

DLR Planning, located in Los Angeles, CA, seeks a Structural Engineer Associate to support M&O – A&E Services by designing, analyzing, and reviewing structural work for district facilities.

The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of full-time structural engineering experience, a bachelor’s degree in structural or civil engineering, and preferably a California PE certification. This is an on-site, long-term role with no relocation funds offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of full-time paid professional structural engineering experience.
• School building construction experience preferred.
• California PE certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, analyze, and review structural plans, specifications, calculations, estimates, and reports.
• Review structural work for compliance with applicable standards and provide recommendations.
• Assist with design and layout of foundations, floors, walls, roofs, and framing systems for major structures.
