Position Overview: Position Overview: We are currently looking for one dedicated individual to join our team in the role of Structural Engineer Associate . The Structural Engineer Associate will support Maintenance & Operations (M&O) — A&E Services by performing structural engineering work related to the design, construction, maintenance, and operation of District facilities. Responsibilities include preparing, analyzing, and reviewing structural plans, specifications, calculations, estimates, and reports; conducting site investigations; reviewing structural work for compliance with applicable standards; and providing technical recommendations to architects, engineers, contractors, and construction inspectors. Qualified candidates will possess a minimum of three (3) years of full-time paid professional structural engineering experience and a bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering with a specialization in structural engineering. Experience with school building construction and possession of a California Professional Engineer (PE) certification are preferred.
