Job summary

Jobot is seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineer to join our Philadelphia-area team. The role focuses on structural engineering for transportation and bridge projects, including inspections and design, with a minimum of 3 years of experience.

Job Details

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Structural Engineer to join our dynamic Engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing structural engineering expertise and support to our clients in the Engineering industry. This is a full-time position that requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in the field.

Salary: $75,000 - $110,000 per year

Responsibilities

• Conduct bridge inspections and prepare detailed inspection reports
• Design and analyze structural components using software such as AutoCAD, Microstation, Midas, and STAAD
• Prepare structural drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for bridge design projects
• Work collaboratively with other engineers and project managers to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget
• Provide technical support to clients and other team members as required
• Ensure that all work is completed in accordance with industry standards and regulations, including those set by PennDOT

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Professional Civil Engineer (PE) certification preferred
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification required
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in structural engineering
• Strong knowledge of bridge inspection and design principles
• Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, Microstation, Midas, and STAAD
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
