Job summary

Farnsworth Group is seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer with 3–7 years of structural engineering experience to perform analysis and design for building structures. You will develop construction documents, participate in site visits and client meetings, and coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams.

The role involves handling design and construction administration for new and renovation projects, with opportunities in business development and client-facing activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required; Master’s preferred in Civil/Structural/Architectural Engineering.
• 3–7 years of structural engineering experience.
• Experience with design and construction administration of building structures.
• Experience designing with steel, concrete, masonry and/or wood.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication.
• Ability to lead and mentor others in a multi-disciplinary environment.

• Experience designing with common construction materials: steel, concrete, masonry and/or wood
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
• Strong team player in a multi-disciplinary environment that can manage and contribute to several projects simultaneously
• Leadership qualities with ability to teach/train others
