Job summary

Farnsworth Group is seeking a structural engineer to perform analysis and design for building structures in multiple locations including Frisco, Austin, and beyond. You will develop construction documents, coordinate with project teams, and participate in client meetings and business development.

The ideal candidate has 3–7 years of structural engineering experience, a Civil/Structural/Architectural background, and strong communication and leadership abilities to work in a multidisciplinary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering (required) with emphasis in structures.
• 3–7 years of structural engineering experience.
• Experience with design and construction administration of building structures (new and renovation).
• Experience with steel, concrete, masonry, or wood.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong team player in multidisciplinary environment; can manage several projects.
• Leadership qualities with ability to teach/train others.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s (required) or Master’s degree (preferred) in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering, with emphasis in structures
• 3 - 7 years of structural engineering experience
• Experience with design and construction administration of building structures, preferably both new construction and renovation of existing structures
• Experience designing with common construction materials: steel, concrete, masonry and/or wood
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
• Strong team player in a multi-disciplinary environment that can manage and contribute to several projects simultaneously
• Leadership qualities with ability to teach/train others
