Job summary

Farnsworth Group is seeking a Structural Engineer to join our team in one of several posting locations: Austin or Frisco, TX; Greenwood Village, CO; Phoenix, AZ; or Salt Lake City, UT. You will perform structural analysis and design for building structures and related systems while developing construction documents and providing construction administration services.

The successful candidate has a bachelor’s degree in civil/structural or architectural engineering, 3–7 years of experience, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering with emphasis in structures.
• 3–7 years of structural engineering experience.
• PE or SE licensure preferred.
• Experience with design and construction administration of building structures; both new and renovation works.
• Experience designing with steel, concrete, masonry, and/or wood materials.

Farnsworth Group is seeking a Structural Engineer in one of the following posting locations: Austin or Frisco, TX; Greenwood Village, CO (Denver Tech Center); Phoenix, AZ; or Salt Lake City, UT. In this role, you will provide customer-oriented design and construction services to clients nationwide. This role offers great growth potential.

Job Activities

• Perform structural analysis and design for building structures and related systems
• Develop construction documents and provide construction administration services
• Perform site visits, client meetings and coordination with the project team
• Participate in business development and client-facing activities

Specific Requirements Include

• Bachelor’s (required) or Master’s degree (preferred) in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering, with emphasis in structures
• 3 - 7 years of structural engineering experience
• Professional Engineer (PE) or Structural Engineer (SE) licensure preferred
• Experience with design and construction administration of building structures, preferably both new construction and renovation of existing structures
• Experience designing with common construction materials: steel, concrete, masonry and/or wood
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
• Strong team player in a multi-disciplinary environment that can manage and contribute to several projects simultaneously
• Leadership qualities with ability to teach/train others
• Revit proficiency preferred

Salary Range

$77,000 - $110,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity)
