Job summary

Farnsworth Group seeks a civil/structural engineer to perform structural analysis and design for building structures and related systems. You will develop construction documents and provide construction administration while coordinating with the project team.

The role includes site visits, client meetings, and active participation in business development within a multi-disciplinary environment. A Bachelor’s degree is required with 3–7 years of experience; leadership abilities are welcome.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s (required) or Master’s degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering.
• 3 - 7 years of structural engineering experience.
• Experience with design and construction administration of building structures, preferably both new construction and renovation of existing structures
• Experience designing with steel, concrete, masonry and/or wood
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
• Strong team player in a multi-disciplinary environment that can manage and contribute to several projects simultaneously
• Leadership qualities with ability to teach/train others
