Job summary

Farnsworth Group Inc. seeks a Civil/Structural Engineer in Austin or Frisco with 3–7 years of structural design experience to perform analysis and develop construction documents. You will also provide construction administration and coordinate with the project team on site visits and client meetings.

The role includes opportunities to participate in business development and client-facing activities, with a Hybrid Work Program and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s in civil/structural/architectural engineering with emphasis in structures.
• 3–7 years of structural engineering experience.
• Experience with design and construction administration of building structures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s (required) or Master’s degree (preferred) in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering, with emphasis in structures
• 3 - 7 years of structural engineering experience
• Experience with design and construction administration of building structures, preferably both new construction and renovation of existing structures
• Experience designing with common construction materials: steel, concrete, masonry and/or wood
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
• Strong team player in a multi-disciplinary environment that can manage and contribute to several projects simultaneously
• Leadership qualities with ability to teach/train others
