Job summary

Beacon Hill is seeking senior Structural Engineers to support design and construction of TI, R&D, manufacturing, and facility infrastructure projects at Bay Area sites. You will collaborate with internal engineering teams to advance projects from concept through construction, often managing 7–8 concurrent efforts with varying scope and complexity.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Structural Engineering required.
• 8+ years of Structural Engineering experience.
• Full-cycle structural design experience with gravity and lateral force-resisting systems.
• Foundation design, equipment anchorage, utility supports, and structural bracing experience.
• Proficiency with ETABS, SAFE, Revit, and RISA 3D.

Responsibilities

Job description

These Structural Engineers will support the design and construction of TI, R&D, manufacturing, and facility infrastructure projects across a top automotive company Bay Area sites. Projects include manufacturing lines, heavy equipment installations, steel platforms, warehouse modifications, retrofits, foundations, slabs, and MEP support systems.

This is a highly collaborative role, partnering closely with in-house Mechanical, Electrical, Architectural, Construction, and Engineering teams to bring projects from design through construction. Engineers can expect to manage 7-8 projects simultaneously, with each project varying in scope, stage, and complexity. They are looking for engineers who enjoy working cross-functionally, can effectively coordinate with stakeholders, and are comfortable owning projects throughout the full lifecycle. Candidates with experience supporting industrial, manufacturing, or other high-tech infrastructure facilities will be especially aligned with the team's work.

Must-Haves

• Master's Degree in Structural Engineering
• 8+ years of Structural Engineering experience
• Full-cycle structural design experience with both gravity and lateral force-resisting systems
• Concrete, steel, wood, masonry, cold-formed steel, and MEP support structures
• Foundation design, equipment anchorage, utility supports, and structural bracing experience
• Proficiency with ETABS, SAFE, Revit, and RISA 3D

Nice-to-Haves

• Design review presentation experience (30%, 60%, 90%)
• Stakeholder management and coordination
• SAP2000, RAM Structural System, Navisworks, or AutoCAD
• Permit and construction package development
• Construction administration (RFIs, submittals, shop drawings)
