You will perform field investigations, structural calculations, generate AutoCAD drawings, prepare bidding specifications and cost estimates, and maintain client communications. Position Summary

ERI has a career opportunity for a structural engineer in the engineering of water and wastewater treatment facilities, municipal infrastructure, buildings as well as dams. A familiarity with the building, steel, and concrete codes is a must.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform field investigations and inspections of infrastructure (must be able to climb up and down ladders and lift 40 lbs.)
• Report writing.
• Responsible for project development, management, and implementation of various tasks.
• Perform structural calculations by hand and via structural analysis and design software.
• Generate project drawings in AutoCAD.
• Assemble and modify specifications suitable for bidding.
• Prepare cost estimates

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering with structural emphasis.
• EIT required; PE preferred.

Compensation

Anticipated base salary: $80,000–$95,000. Actual compensation is based on experience, education, licensure, certifications, skills, and other job-related factors.
