Job summary

Environmental Resolutions, Inc. (ERI) seeks a water/wastewater engineer with a background in the design of water and wastewater treatment facilities, including collection, conveyance, distribution, and storage systems, based in New Jersey.

Familiarity with environmental permit compliance is required. The role covers field investigations, data analysis, proposal preparation, and coordination with clients and contractors, with opportunities to contribute to stormwater and road projects.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil and/or Environmental Engineering.
• 3–8 years of experience in water/wastewater.
• PE preferred.
• Valid driver’s license or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform field investigations, sampling, and surveys.
• Manage project development and execution for sanitary sewer and potable water projects.
• Assist with stormwater and roadway projects.
• Oversee and complete assigned projects.
• Prepare proposals.
• Conduct construction project administration.
• Gather, compile and analyze data.
• Review permit requirements.
• Interface with project team, clients, and contractors.

Position Summary

ERI has a career opportunity for a water/wastewater with a background in the engineering of water and wastewater treatment facilities, collection and conveyance systems, as well as distribution and storage systems. Familiarity with environmental permit compliance is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Ability to perform field investigations, field sampling, and surveys.
• Responsible for project development, management, implementation of various tasks associated with sanitary sewer and potable water.
• Potentially assist with projects associated with stormwater and roadways.
• Oversight and completion of assigned projects.
• Prepare proposals.
• Construction project administration.
• Gather, compile and analyze data.
• Review and understand permit requirements.
• Facilitate and maintain open communication with project team members, clients, and contractors.
• Interface directly with clients.

Compensation

Anticipated base salary: $80,000–$95,000. Actual compensation is based on experience, education, licensure, certifications, skills, and other job-related factors.
