This position is a 6-month Contract to Hire opportunity with an Industrial Engineering company specializing in custom conveyor systems design, commissioning, and integration. The role is for a Structural Engineer to join their expanding Structural team, led by a Professional Engineer (PE). The team hires Engineers with 0-4 years of experience, focusing on developing skills in structural design, modeling, and analysis.

Ideal candidates are recent graduates from the School of Mines or top 50 Engineering colleges with a GPA of 3.7+ and less than 2 years of experience. Responsibilities initially include 80% design and 20% modeling/analysis, progressing to more analysis work over time. Tasks involve mechanical design, layout, maintaining project files, reading shop drawings, and preparing submittals.

The position offers opportunities for advancement, including support for EIT and PE certifications, working under direct supervision of a PE, and gaining PE experience. Candidates must pass a drug test.

Must Have

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (GPA 3.0+ preferred)
• 0-2 years of experience in structural drafting, designing, modeling, or analysis (Revit, MicroStation, Autodesk, AutoCAD, MEP)
• Strong attention to detail and eagerness to learn
• Coursework in steel and concrete structural analysis
